Kaltura and Zoom: Using Video to Recover Lost Class Time

Snow day? Are you or your students sick? Students missing prerequisite skills? With Kaltura and Zoom, you can breathe easy knowing you can recover lost class time.  In this session, participants will learn strategies to keep students engaged and accountable for missed material.  Create reusable lectures with automatic chapters and slides allowing students to find exactly what they need, when they need it. Learn to use Kaltura Capture to create picture-in-picture videos giving students the flexibility to personalize the viewing experience.  Create Video Quizzes to ensure that students are engaged and interacting with your lecture recordings.

Objectives

  • Develop learning materials, including videos which chapters and slides, picture-in-picture videos, and video quizzes
  • Select the best way to deliver video-based learning materials to your students
  • Use video analytics to evaluate interaction and effectiveness
