This hands-on session focuses on the Sites at Penn State tool, a blogging and website platform powered by WordPress. Get started with the Sites at Penn State tool and learn to create a personal or course blog, department, event, or course website, or an ePortfolio. Discuss best practices for managing text, posts, pages, media, and themes while exercising best practices in site design.

Objectives:

Explore the Sites at Penn State interface
Create new site pages to include content such as contact information, information about the site owner, or a resume
Create and manage blog and ePortfolio content including text, files, links, images, and video
Change the site theme including the header image
