This hands-on workshop is designed for first-time users of Penn State’s Integrated Business Information Systems (IBIS) and will provide an overview of the system. The session also provides helpful information for more “seasoned” users who have had no formal training on processing forms. This session will explore IBIS financial concepts, such as sub-accounting, posting, and reporting.

Prerequisite(s): IBIS access is required and an assigned Secure-ID token must be brought to the session to participate.

This 2-day, hands-on, in-depth training session builds upon the topics presented in “iTwo: Getting Started with Data Analysis.” You’ll dive deeper into the options available in iTwo, developing more complex queries while building upon the skills you gained in the introductory training.
Self-Study Option
A self-study alternative to the face-to-face training is also available. This allows you to study the materials on your own and then take a 10 question online assessment to test-out of the training. Completing this assessment serves as the equivalent of completing this face-to-face session. This is an excellent option if you are looking to receive training and access to iTwo right away, or if you prefer to go over the materials on your own, at your own pace. Please refer to the assessment and corresponding instructions.
Completing this online assessment serves as the equivalent of attending the face-to-face iTwo: Advancing Your Skills training session. If you successfully pass this test, you do not have to take the face-to-face training. There are 10 questions, and you must achieve a 70% in order to pass. You may attempt the test as many times as you would like, and there is no time limit.
This hands-on training session is designed for advanced users of iTwo and builds upon the knowledge and skills presented in iTwo: Getting Started with Data Analysis and the iTwo: Advancing Your Skills training sessions. This session focuses on the basic skills needed to create interactive dashboards.
This hands-on, face-to-face training session introduces new users to iTwo, Oracle’s business intelligence tool. Throughout the session, you’ll explore some of the many features available for finding, analyzing, and visualizing your data in iTwo. You’ll also have the opportunity to practice navigating in the tool as you are guided through the process of creating analyses. Finally, you will be shown helpful resources for learning more about iTwo and your data after you leave the training.
