The Kaltura Learning Resources are Here!

Monday, August 20, 2018

The beginning of the Fall semester brings with it new faces, new opportunities, and new tools for learning. As we welcome back students, we also welcome Kaltura, the University cloud-based media management platform for storing, publishing, and streaming videos, video collections, and other media. Kaltura enables everyone to create and publish digital media to share with fellow colleagues, students, or the world. Kaltura works with both Zoom and Canvas to make video-based learning more engaging and interactive in both the classroom and the workplace. To learn more, visit the Kaltura Information page and read about its features, explore the FAQ, and log in to start taking advantage of Kaltura's exciting features.

If you want to learn about Kaltura from the ground up and understand how to use its capabilities, how it integrates with Zoom and Canvas, and how to get started with Kaltura, ITLD has a resource for your needs. If you are a student, check out the Quick Start Guide for Students and get everything you need to know about using Kaltura in one place. For anyone creating and managing instructional content, check out the Learning Path for Teachers and Instructional Content Creators to understand how to harness Kaltura's features and enhance your classes and educational content. If you are University staff trying to understand how Kaltura will impact you, and how you can use it in your day-to-day work, visit the Learning Path for Non-Instructional Staff.

No matter your role at the University, ITLD has a resource for you to help you get up and running in no time. If you have questions about the transition to Kaltura or need technical help, find the help you need on the Kaltura Help and Support page. Welcome to the Fall semester, and welcome to Kaltura!
