New Canvas Brown Bag Sessions

IT Learning and Development (ITLD) is pleased to announce a new series of one-hour Canvas brown bag sessions! These discussion- and demonstration-oriented workshops will offer hands-on experience with more new Canvas features and specific course scenarios.
The first, "New Tools and Features Integration in Canvas", will be held Wednesday, February 21 from noon to 1 p.m. This discussion-oriented workshop will acquaint participants with the apps and external tools that have been integrated into Canvas over the past year. Learn about the basic features and purposes of integrated external tools in Canvas including VoiceThread, Piazza, and TurnItIn. Learn more and register at 
The second Canvas Brown Bag, "Building and Using Rubrics", will be held Thursday, March 22 from noon to 1 p.m. This demonstration and discussion-oriented workshop will prepare participants to create and use rubrics in Canvas. During the session, participants will learn the components of a well-designed rubric and the steps for creating and managing rubrics in Canvas. Learn more and register at
