Technology Learning Assistants

Technology Learning Assistants (TLAs) help Penn State faculty members at University Park use technology in and for their classes. TLAs can provide 5 to 10 consultations throughout the semester on skills needed for Canvas, PowerPoint, electronic grade book, file management, email, creating web pages, and other technologies used for teaching.

TLAs are available to assist faculty and support staff at University Park.

Please note that TLAs will not perform duties normally done by departmental technology support personnel (software installations, hardware troubleshooting, network problems, etc.). TLAs will not serve in the role of teaching assistants or staff assistants, but TLA services, as described above, are available for teaching assistants.
