This hands-on workshop is designed for first-time users of Penn State’s Integrated Business Information Systems (IBIS) and will provide an overview of the system. The session also provides helpful information for more “seasoned” users who have had no formal training on processing forms. This session will explore IBIS financial concepts, such as sub-accounting, posting, and reporting.


  • Log in to IBIS
  • Navigate a variety of IBIS forms
  • Create electronic forms (SRFC, IDCC, ROCR)
  • Browse and retrieve forms
  • Resolve transaction details into Financial Account Numbers (FANS)
  • Use available online documentation

Prerequisite(s): IBIS access is required and an assigned Secure-ID token must be brought to the session to participate.
