Embedded Analytics, known as EA, is an SAP user-interface that allows users a variety of formats for viewing SIMBA analytic data. 5: There are FIVE means to narrow the data on an Embedded Analytics Report.
- Selection criteria includes key words or numbers that, when entered into report header filter boxes, will display only that data on an EA report.
- Filtering by value help produces a list of selection criteria from which to choose the desired criteria for a report. This is useful when you don’t know what selection criteria to enter into a report filter box.
- Define conditions identify a selection range so the search result produces a controlled number of selection criteria. For example, if a report only needs to display data from the first quarter, July, August, September, the condition BETWEEN will be chosen from the conditions drop down menu.
- Filter shortcuts are a quick means to provide criteria range
- The Adapt Filters option allows additional search criteria fields to be added to a report header.
4: There are FOUR quick methods to modify report columns.
- Resize a column to view all of the data in a given cell.
- Adjust the column sequence to suit your needs.
- Freeze one or more columns to ensure that they remain visible as you scroll left and right through the report.
- Sort columns in ascending and descending order by selecting a column header.

- Export to Spreadsheet for the ability to easily print off your report.
- Send as an E-Mail to share your report with financial staff in your business area.
- Save your report as a tile in the Fiori launchpad to create a time-saving “shortcut.”
2: It takes just TWO toggles to customize a report to display only the columns you need on a report.
