Kaltura: Collaboration and Channels in MediaSpace

During this session, participants will learn about their options for uploading and sharing media, and collaborating on media or media collections within Penn State’s Media management and streaming service, Kaltura MediaSpace. Participants will learn about how to share individual items to be worked on collaboratively with others and how to create channels for a variety of audiences.

Objectives

  • Upload and share existing media using Kaltura MediaSpace
  • Collaborate on individual media items in MediaSpace
  • Create, customize, organize, and add members to a channel in Kaltura’s MediaSpace
  • Assign collaboration roles to individuals based on their needs

Kaltura: Teaching with Kaltura in Canvas

Innovate your teaching by integrating Kaltura media and tools into your courses. Integrating the Kaltura learning tools allows students and instructors to create and share media content within Canvas. During this 90-minute hands-on session, participants will learn how to add the Kaltura learning tools to their courses, build a Media Gallery to support learning, and explore how to update content and assignments by adding Kaltura media components.

  • Create interactive media to promote and support student learning
