They deal with a variety of advanced topics in Canvas such as large enrollment classes, rubrics, and integrations. Do you want to use multiple methods to measure students' mastery of your course content? This 2.5-hour hands-on session will prepare you to design and deliver a variety of assessments in Canvas. You will walk through the steps for creating assignments and quizzes and explore quiz settings that determine how students interact with questions and review and receive feedback.
Every Canvas course should be built on a solid foundation of well-organized content. During this 2.5-hour hands-on session, you will begin constructing that foundation for one of your Canvas courses. Specifically, you will build a course structure with Modules, add Pages, upload files, and explore options for building a Course Home Page and Syllabus.
This hands-on session prepares Canvas users to optimize content for accessibility. Participants learn to identify accessibility issues within content, use the Rich Content Editor, create extended deadlines for quiz and assignment submissions, and use recommended guidelines for accessible quizzes.
Are you looking for ways to speed up your grading processes? Would you like to quickly provide feedback or message students about a specific assignment? During this 2.5-hour hands-on session, you will learn to use the Canvas Gradebook for grade management and reporting. Explore how to organize and view grades, utilize SpeedGrader for grading and feedback, and pull grades from Canvas into LionPATH.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will become familiar with the basic tools for data management in Microsoft Excel 2016. Participants learn how to import, extract, and manipulate spreadsheet data. Participants will also use some of Excel’s tools to help manage multiple worksheets, visually compare workbooks, and work more efficiently in Excel.

Learn to use Kaltura Capture to create picture-in-picture videos giving students the flexibility to personalize the viewing experience. Create Video Quizzes to ensure that students are engaged and interacting with your lecture recordings.

Join us for a brown bag session to learn how to create and organize a virtual collaboration space with Microsoft Teams. You’ll have a chance to explore relevant features available in Teams (channels, apps, tabs etc.) and walk away with tips for setting up, organizing, and managing your Team to make collaboration more seamless.
