With Canvas, Kaltura, and Zoom, you can keep students engaged and accountable for course material whether your primary mode of instruction is in-person, remote synchronous, remote asynchronous, or mixed mode. In this session, you will get an overview of options that will help you deliver your content using various Zoom, Kaltura, and Canvas tools such as automatic chapters and slides, interactive transcripts, and reusable lectures.

This hands-on session prepares Canvas users to optimize content for accessibility.  Participants learn to identify accessibility issues within content, use the Rich Content Editor, create extended deadlines for quiz and assignment submissions, and use recommended guidelines for accessible quizzes.

During this session, participants will learn about their options for uploading and sharing media, and collaborating on media or media collections within Penn State’s Media management and streaming service, Kaltura MediaSpace. Participants will learn about how to share individual items to be worked on collaboratively with others and how to create channels for a variety of audiences.

  • Upload and share existing media using Kaltura MediaSpace
  • Collaborate on individual media items in MediaSpace
  • Create, customize, organize, and add members to a channel in Kaltura’s MediaSpace
  • Assign collaboration roles to individuals based on their needs

This Forms Learning Path supports Penn State faculty, staff, and students looking to gather information using quizzes or forms. Quizzes are used for general assessment, while forms are used as information-gathering tools, such as surveys or polls. This learning path teaches you how to create, customize, share, and analyze results from forms and quizzes, individually or collaboratively using Microsoft's Office 365 Forms.
