This hands-on session prepares Canvas users to optimize content for accessibility. Participants learn to identify accessibility issues within content, use the Rich Content Editor, create extended deadlines for quiz and assignment submissions, and use recommended guidelines for accessible quizzes.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will become familiar with the basic tools for data management in Microsoft Excel. Participants learn how to import, extract, and manipulate spreadsheet data. Participants will also use some of Excel’s tools to work more efficiently, including data validation, PivotTables, and PivotCharts.
Objectives
Want to explore more advanced options for analyzing and manipulating your data in iTwo? These hands-on training sessions build upon the topics presented in iTwo: Getting Started with Data Analysis. Over the course of 2 sessions, you’ll dive deeper into the options available in iTwo, developing more complex queries while building upon the skills you gained in the introductory training.
Self-Study Option
A self-study alternative to the online training is also available. This allows you to study the materials on your own and then take a 10 question online assessment to test-out of the training. Completing this assessment serves as the equivalent of completing the online session. This is an excellent option if you are looking to receive training and access to iTwo right away, or if you prefer to go over the materials on your own, at your own pace. Throughout the session, you’ll explore some of the many features available for finding, analyzing, and visualizing your data in iTwo. You’ll also have the opportunity to practice navigating in the tool as you are guided through the process of creating analyses. Finally, you will be shown helpful resources for learning more about iTwo and your data after you leave the training.
