Penn State’s Knowledge Portal (KB) contains articles that address specific questions and topics. The KB allows users to search thousands of articles, from step-by-step instructions to general information and FAQs, written by Penn Staters for Penn Staters.
3: Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT).
Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) specializes in assisting Penn State faculty and staff with innovative educational solutions. Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) provides seminars, resources, and consulting services for educators of all types at Penn State, from faculty teaching semester-long courses to students taking their first steps in the world of education. 4: Tech Tutors.
2025 Update: Technology support is now available through the IT Service Desk. Software Walkthrough sessions are available by request to assist students, faculty, and staff with commonly used Penn State software. These sessions are free of charge and can be scheduled as either remote or in-person appointments. In-person sessions will be held at the Knowledge Commons in Pattee Library. Please submit your request online using the Software Walkthrough Session Request Form at least 24 hours before your desired session time.
5: ITLD Kaltura Channel.
ITLD offers clean, captioned recordings of many of its most popular sessions on the IT Learning and Development Kaltura channel. These recordings are perfect if you need some instruction, but don’t want to wait for the next live session. They are available for topics from Canvas to Zoom, and can be viewed at any time, day or night.
